The Deviate Nitro Elite 2 is a racing shoe that works for nearly all runners, providing pinnacle responsiveness, propulsion, and cushioning in an extreme lightweight package. This model is designed for runners chasing their PR (personal record/best) in competitions. 60g lighter than the Deviate, DeviateEliteV2 uses thinner rubber, thinner stronger carbon fiber plate, and thinner upper with no lining to maximize breathability. The plate is re-designed in the second version to be stronger and turn the foam into a better spring, aiding in efficiency. A new last accommodates a wider range of feet shapes, a straighter big toe, and 2mm lower drop (now 6mm) to maximize the foam for best efficiency. A new padded heel collar combines with a refined eyestay to maximizes lockdown. The outsole is designed to work on road a variety of surfaces. The DeviateEliteV2 is the most democratic racer in our line, and will drive heat with consumers and Puma retailers.
